Sunday Lunch Time Recitals
On Sunday April 22nd Regina Nathan soprano will sing in the Print room at Marlfield House
Regina Nathan is one of Ireland’s premier sopranos. Her career in opera has taken her from her native Ireland across Europe and Stateside to New York’s Carnegie Hall
A devoted recitalist, she has enraptured audiences worldwide and famously with Placido Domingo in a sold out concert at Dublin’s Point Theatre
In the past 12 months over 3,500 people have heard Regina perform “Casta Diva, The Life, Loves and Music” of the world’s greatest Opera Diva, Maria Callas, at the National Concert Hall Dublin.
This is a great opportunity to hear Regina perform in the intimate setting of Marlfied House where she will sing much loved opera classics from La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, Tosca, La Traviata and Carmen
Performances will take place in the intimacy of the house in the Print Room, preceded by a delicious four course lunch in our Conservatory Dining Room. Come and enjoy what has become a very popular way to spend a Sunday afternoon in the beautiful surroundings of Marlfield and its gardens.
Lunch will be served from 12.30 followed by the recital at 3.30pm. Tickets are €65 per person for lunch and recital. Recital only tickets are €25
Very special bed and breakfast rates from €75 per person are available on Sunday 22nd of April and from €85 on Saturday 21st of April

A Tour of Wexford Gardens with Frances MacDonald, 6th to 8th of May 2012
Check in on Sunday 6th May and enjoy a glass of wine and dinner with the other attendees.
Following a leisurely breakfast on Monday morning meet Frances who will accompany the
group to Woodville Gardens, a Victorian walled garden, Coolaught Garden and Nursery, a
farmhouse garden and woodland and The Potting Shed, a small nursery garden.
The following
day you will visit Frances in her own beautiful garden, The Bay Garden and Springmount Garden Centre.

March 22nd to 1st April In Aid of Irish Cancer Society
At this time of year the gardens at Marlfield become a carpet of gold as the daffodils burst out of the earth in their thousands.
Come and see for yourself and enjoy morning coffee with scones for €9, afternoon tea for €16 or lunch for €20 and we will give you a bunch of our beautiful daffodils and make a donation to the Irish Cancer Society Daffodil week for every person who visits us
