Directions

Marlfield House Hotel is located on the Courtown Road (R742) just on the outskirts of Gorey, County Wexford in the South East of Ireland. The town is bypassed by the M11 to the east and Marlfield is situated on the east side of the town inside the bypass.  The Hotel is easily accessible by Road, Air, Sea, and Rail.  It is only 1 hour drive away from South Dublin, Rosslare or Dublin ports and only 1 ½ hour away from Dublin Airport or Dublin City Centre. By Road

Travelling from Dublin

Take the N11/M11 from Dublin all the way down for approximately 90 kilometres to exit 23 signposted for Gorey / Courtown / Ballycanew / R741. Exit M11 here and take the first exit at the roundabout signposted for Courtown/R742. At the second roundabout take the first exit to the left signposted for Gorey/R742. Follow the road for 1 km and Marlfield is on your left.

Travelling from Dublin Airport

Take the M1/M50 southwards. The M50 eventually becomes the M11. Continue on M11 all the way down for approximately 90 kilometres to exit 23 signposted for Gorey / Courtown / Ballycanew / R741. Exit M11 here and take the first exit at the roundabout signposted for Courtown/R742. At the second roundabout take the first exit to the left signposted for Gorey/R742. Follow the road for 1 km and Marlfield is on your left.

Travelling From Wexford / Rosslare

Follow the signs for Dublin on N11 and exit the motorway at exit 23. Take the third exit on the right over the motorway at the first roundabout signposted for Courtown. Follow the sign for Courtown at the next roundabout. At the third roundabout take the first exit to the left signposted for Gorey/R742. Follow the road for 1 km and Marlfield is on your left.

Travelling locally from Ballycanew

When approaching Gorey on the R741 turn right at the first roundabout (Ballycanew Road), go straight through the next roundabout (Knockduff roundabout) turn right at the next roundabout (Raheenagurren West roundabout) go straight through the next roundabout (Raheenagurren East) and turn left at the next roundabout (Courtown Road), follow the road for 1 km and you will find Marlfield on your left.

Travelling locally from Carnew

You will enter Gorey at a monument at the top of the town. Leaving the monument on your right hand side head down the main street of Gorey. At the bottom of the main street turn right at the Coach House Pub, turn right a the next roundabout, follow the road for less than 1 km and Marlfield is on your right.

By Road from the UK or Northern Ireland

Travelling from London / Mainland UK

Travelling from Belfast

Marlfield House is only 3 hours or 170 miles away from Belfast city and is easily accessible via major motorways. Take A12 from Belfast, then continue on M1 until you reach exit 8 signposted for the South / Dublin. Exit here and continue driving on A1. The road becomes N1 when entering the Republic and eventually becomes M1. Continue driving towards Dublin and as soon as you pass Dublin Airport, exit the motorway onto M50 (Exit 1). Follow the directions “Travelling from Dublin Airport” above.
