Marlfield first opened its doors to guests over 35 years ago and is a member of the prestigious world wide Relais & Chateaux hotel group and Ireland’s Blue Book.

The house is set in 35 acres of manicured gardens, encompassing a large kitchen garden, woodland walks, lake and fowl reserve, lawns and herbaceous borders. The interior bears all the signs of a much loved house filled with fresh flowers, gleaming antiques and mirrors, blazing fires and period paintings.

There are a host of leisure activities in the area including links and parkland golf courses, fox hunting from November to March, archery, beach and woodland walks and horse riding, all within close proximity.The reputation of Marlfield house has been built on its food, much of which is grown in the kitchen garden or sourced locally. Fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs grow abundantly in summer and autumn and are gathered daily for the kitchen. Kilmore Quay fish, Wexford beef and lamb, local artisan cheeses, all feature on the menu in the highly acclaimed restaurant which serves classical cuisine with a modern light touch, garden to table is the ethos here.

Marlfield House offers excellent small banqueting and conference facilities and is a beautiful setting for a romantic luxurious country wedding. The house also hosts a number of events such as Sunday recitals and classical concerts throughout the year.
