Marlfield House was built in 1830 and became the principal residence of the Earls of Courtown. It was always renowned for its garden and today the house sits on 36 acres of grounds. The extensive kitchen garden is a labour of love for the Bowe family. Vegetables, fruits and herbs are carefully tended so that guests can enjoy the fruits of the land in season and within hours of being picked.  All produce from the kitchen and herb garden are used by the Marlfield chefs.
