The Duck at Home

Thank you for all your positive feedback, we are delighted with the response. Based on your comments, we are now offering 2 Course (€29) and 3 Course (€35) menus, available to purchase individually, and both with vegetarian options. The new menus for 29th May and 5th June can be viewed and ordered below. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment as we have limited availability.

  • The cost of a 2-course menu is €29 and a 3-course menu €35.
  • Food is served chilled with instructions for reheating.
  • Optional extras are available such as wines or a cheese board.
  • Limited numbers available each week, prepayment required.
  • You can order for 29th May and/or 5th June below.
  • Pick up time will be on Friday’s between 3pm and 6pm from The Duck Courtyard with specific time windows allocated in advance.

3 Course Menu €35

Starter: Seared salmon, Asian noodle salad, spiced cashew, ginger & chilli (1,4,5,6,8,9,11,12).

​Main Course: Confit barbary duck leg on Summer vegetable ratatouille, Marlfield garden herb salsa (9,12), creamy whipped potato puree with olive oil (7).

Dessert: Marlfield pink rhubarb & Wexford berry crumble, whipped Chantilly vanilla cream (1,3,7,8).

2 Course Menu €29

Starter: Seared salmon, Asian noodle salad, spiced cashew, ginger & chilli (1,4,5,6,8,9,11,12).

​Main Course: Cassoulet of Mediterranean vegetables, butterbeans, chickpeas, harissa & herbs (9,12).

Dessert: Marlfield pink rhubarb & Wexford berry crumble, whipped Chantilly vanilla cream (1,3,7,8).

2 Course Vegetarian Menu €29

Starter: Chicken, leak, apricot & pistachio terrine, tarragon mayonnaise, sun blushed tomato, & garden leaf salad, French dressing (3,7,8,9,10,12).

​Main Course: Baked organic salmon, on a risotto of Kilmore smoked haddock, pea, spinach, garden herb pesto, asparagus tips (4,7,9,12).

Dessert: French classic glazed lemon tart, crème anglaise, raspberries (1,3,7,8).

2 Course Menu €29

Starter: Chicken, leak, apricot & pistachio terrine, tarragon mayonnaise, sun blushed tomato, & garden leaf salad, French dressing (3,7,8,9,10,12).

​Main Course: Baked organic salmon, on a risotto of Kilmore smoked haddock, pea, spinach, garden herb pesto, asparagus tips (4,7,9,12).

3 Course Vegetarian Menu €35

Starter: Tartlet of asparagus, sun blushed tomato, leeks, spinach & goats cheese, salad of sun blushed tomato & garden leaves (French dressing) (1,3,7,8,9,10,12).

​Main Course: Panzerotti of ravioli, creamy balsamic mushrooms, spinach, chilli & garlic, finely grated parmesan (1,3,7,9,12).

Dessert: French classic glazed lemon tart, crème anglaise, raspberries (1,3,7,8).
